"I absolutely love The Mason Inn! It's always a go-to whenever we're looking for a great place to eat. The food is always hot, fresh, and served in generous portions. The dinner salad is fantastic, and the bourbon salmon is my personal favorite. My friend loves their Fish, broccoli and baked potato whenever they're available. The atmosphere is always lively and enjoyable, and the wait staff is friendly, fun, and attentive. Every visit is a great experience, and I always leave perfectly satisfied. Highly recommend The Mason Inn for anyone looking for a delicious meal and a wonderful time!"

"I had a wonderful experience here. I just moved to town, and walked over to have a cocktail and dinner at the bar. The bartender immediately greeted me with a friendly attitude, and quickly made a quality cocktail. I ordered the pecan crusted orange roughly with asparagus, and savored every bite. Other town patrons were also friendly, and everyone was actively having a good time. I can't wait to go back soon."

"Wife and I don't do enough date nights. Had a nice time tonight. Sirloin steak special and Walleye special were excellent. Fish can be hard to get right. They got it right. Perfect level of doneness but not over done. Moist and delicious."

"We recently visited the Mason Inn, Pittsboro, Indiana for the first time with a couple that had been once before . We had read about the Inn in various write ups and were curious. Parking is in the rear. The entrance is on the main drag and opens into the bar that includes table seating. We decided to arrive by 4pm as we had heard it fills up early . This was on a Thursday and sure enough the bar was packed with locals. We moved on to the dining room which we learned had previously housed pool tables. Specials of the day were posted on a blackboard . Our server was energetic, welcoming and informative of the specials and questions about specific menu items. Our choices : Hot submarine $9.95 with fries-decent amount of sliced ham, salami and cheese with lettuce tomato on thick sub bread. Our diner said it was ok. Grilled chicken salad $11.95 grilled chicken strips, red onion, shredded cheese and tomato with a vinaigrette dressing on the side. Chicken strips were likely packaged as they were dry. Parmesan crusted grouper filet pan fried with a side salad $16.95. This was the "star" of the dishes albeit a very thin filet but flavorful . This was a blackboard special . Pork chop with apple chutney and a double side of steamed broccoli $16.95. This had been flat top or skillet fried , was over cooked since was a thin bone in chop and had absolutely no seasoning. Had to use the table salt and pepper to get any flavor on it. This was the biggest disappointment dish and was a blackboard special. In general the atmosphere was downstream bar trying to provide "upscale " food beyond the burgers , wraps etc that offer. Next time will try their burgers fries and get beers. One of our diners confused the server and bar tender who didn't understand the order for a Tito's martini up. The journey continues "inn" central Indiana for diamonds in the rough."

"Had dinner here. The service was very good and fast. Not much in the way of atmosphere. But the menu was nice. My husband ordered the pork shanks. He got two. One was tough and not pleasant to eat the other was ok. I got the fried chicken sandwich. A huge portion of chicken. I enjoyed it. We also got a side of grilled asparagus. Clearly, someone who doesn't know asparagus or how to cook it, made it. The seasoning was good but is all the nice I can say about that."

"This is a popular watering hole with great food. Servers are friendly and the food is consistently good. We pop in from time to time and it never disappoints. Great salads and their specials are always something to look forward to."
